Scott M. Stone Senior Project Manager

Scott is a Senior Project Manager overseeing major projects in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. His background in Real Estate Development spans more than 40 years of experience in entitlements, land development, project management, land acquisition and construction management. Scott consistently delivers projects ahead of schedule and under budget. His focus is on problem-solving while integrating innovative thinking to exceed expectations across all functional teams.

Prior to his association with Comstock, Scott held positions as Project Executive at SunCal Companies, Vice President of Development for Warmington Homes CA, and several other key management positions with some of America’s top 100 Builders including, Toll Brothers Inc., Shea Homes and Shappell Industries. Scott’s accomplishments include the entitlement and acquisition of more than $1 billion of residential projects and development of more than 6,000 homes. His broad range of projects include Brownfield Reuse sites, Estate lots, master planned communities, T.O.D., mixed use, multifamily and mid-rise multi-story development over subterranean parking.

Scott has been recognized for his commitment to the real estate development industry, while staying actively involved in governmental affairs, land development advisory committees, held seats on the executive board for local building industry associations and is a past president of the Building Industry Association of Los Angeles/Ventura Counties. Scott attended Cal Poly Pomona with a focus on architecture and the University of California at Santa Barbara before beginning his career in Real Estate Development.
